Camping at The Block, Townsville, QLD

If you’re exploring the Townsville region, The Block at Brookhill is a fantastic place to set up camp. It’s roughly 27km southwest of The Strand, off the Flinders Highway, so shopping and sightseeing are super easy.

The Block is a great launchpad for day trips to Charters Towers, Ravenswood and Burdekin Dam.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely choose The Block again when visiting family in the Townsville area.
