Camping at Jack’s Place, Toogoolawah Qld

We recently tried out a (new to us) campground called Jack’s Place at Toogoolawah, Queensland.  What a find!  We enjoyed four glorious nights here.  There was serenity overload, stunning scenery and plenty of birdlife to enjoy. There is a lovely little creek winding its way through the property and campsites are located along the creek.

Helpful information about Jack’s Place:

  • Large flat campsites
  • Firepits
  • Firewood available for purchase
  • Cassette toilet essential (dump point at Toogoolawah Showgrounds)
  • No facilities or water, so bring everything you need
  • Creek for swimming, kayaking, yabbying
  • Dogs allowed, on lead
  • Super budget friendly
  • Only 5-10 minutes drive into Toogoolawah
  • Not too far from Brisbane

Site bookings need to be made via Hipcamp.  This would have to be one of Hipcamp’s best bang for buck campgrounds in the vicinity of Brisbane.
