    Cracow, Qld…Almost a Ghost Town

A visit to Cracow is certainly worth it if you are in the Theodore-Eidsvold area.  We took a drive to this tiny town with its population of around 50 whilst staying in Theodore.  Having previously overnighted in Cracow during 2016 we were keen to revisit and take another look around town.   Cracow has recently been the topic of a couple of ABC stories – Back Roads Season 11, the episode titled ‘Theodore’ will give…

    Injune, Queensland

Injune is well situated at the base of the Carnarvon Ranges, and brimming with friendly locals – it is a small town that punches above its weight.  Injune is a fantastic re-provisioning point if you are travelling north toward Carnarvon Gorge.  We recommend you stay a night and don’t just drive on through. We loved our visit to Bell Biblical Garden and Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in the little town of Bell, Queensland. Both the Garden and the Church are popular tourist attractions. The bright yellow Catholic Church features a stunning and colourful original series of paintings that were completed for the 95th anniversary of the church. They portray the history of salvation as told in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.…

    Jandowae Qld

Jandowae, Queensland – so much to do and see in around this beautiful little town. Jandowae has a population of around 740 and is located in the Western Downs Region, Queensland, Australia. The town of Jandowae is situated on the traditional lands of the Barunggam People.
