Cookin' Up a Storm

Hawaiian Pizza Jaffles

Try our Hawaiian Pizza inspired jaffles for yourself. Nothing beats the aroma of jaffles cooking in the fire at your campsite. And the twist with these little beauties is that the key ingredients are all pantry staples – perfect for when you are in the outback and getting low on fresh supplies.

We love to camp remotely, and ensure we are provisioned accordingly, having enough extra food and drinking water for an additional 4-5 days just to cover us in the event of a mechanical issue, or having to wait for tracks to dry out. To this end, we’ve been investigating some uses for tinned ham, which is not something we would normally eat, but hey it does keep well and is quite versatile. So, our mission has been to find a few tasty ways to use it…hence our Hawaiian Pizza Jaffles.
