Burke’s Gravesite & Waterhole, Sth Aust

Robert O’Hara Burke’s original gravesite is near the town of Innaminka in North East South Australia. Such a sad site, but the country along Burke’s Waterhole and Cooper Creek was amazing. The area abounds with flora and fauna – beautiful old red river gums (kings of the creek), coolabah trees, and loads of birds, including pelicans and blue herons.
