We recently tried out a (new to us) campground called Jack’s Place at Toogoolawah, Queensland. What a find! We enjoyed four glorious nights here. Historic Dickabram Bridge, Miva QLD
Construction of this grand old rail and road bridge was completed in 1886 and it was a major bridge on the Kingaroy Branch Line (Gympie-Kingaroy). Whilst the bridge was officially closed for rail early in 2010, it remains open for vehicles. Mt Glorious Subtropical Rainforest Walk, Qld
Mt Glorious is located just to the north-west of Brisbane in the D’Aguilar Range National Park. We took a walk to Greenes Falls and saw huge strangler figs, twisted roots, interesting fungi and a ‘land mullet’ – a large skink (lizard).
