The Stonehouse Moore, Qld
The Stonehouse is a group of three related stone structures that were built from 1874 – 1888. The complex consists of a storehouse, kitchen and a hotel or inn. Burke’s Gravesite & Waterhole, South Australia
Robert O’Hara Burke’s original gravesite is near the town of Innaminka in North East South Australia. Such a sad site, but the country along Burke’s Waterhole and Cooper Creek was amazing. The area abounds with flora and fauna – beautiful old red river gums (kings of the creek), coolabah trees, and loads of birds, including pelicans and blue herons. The Dig Tree Reserve, Qld
The 14 kilometres from the turn off on the Adventure Way were tough going, but once we arrived at the iconic Dig Tree site we agreed it was well worth it. Scenic Bulloo River Walk in Outback Queensland
